INGLEWOOD–During the month of March, the Inglewood Public Library will celebrate the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss. Theodor Seuss Geisel was famous for writing many children’s books, including “The Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham.” His books caused generations of children to love reading. The library is urging parents to bring the whole family to the library in March for fun and festivities. Among the programs are:

*”Dr. Seuss Birthday Party” on Tuesday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Kids are encouraged to wear a festive costume to celebrate silliness.

*”Reading Together!” Parents, children, teens and community members are invited to come to the library every Thursday in March from 3 to 4 p.m. and read children’s books together to celebrate children’s literacy as a community.

*Dr. Seuss film and crafts for kids ages 6 and up on Thursday, March 8, at 4 p.m.

*Dr. Seuss films will be shown on Thursday, March 22 and March 29 at 4 p.m.
