The Inglewood Unified School District will hold a special community meeting today at 3:30 p.m. at Morningside High School Auditorium with the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) to update parents, students and employees on the status of the district’s budget and the implications of a possible state takeover.
The district has been grappling with budget shortfalls that FCMAT, a state contractor charged with helping turn around financially struggling districts.
The meeting will be held at 10500 Yukon Ave. in Inglewood.
