This week’s Ultimate Transformation Moment is about a subject that I’ve rarely touched upon. It’s a primary topic, when we reflect on our personal growth, personal potential, and how we connect to the universe, people and families around us. The topic is love, or more specifically, self-love.

When you take a close look at love, you’re actually looking at the energy that is at the center of all things in the universe. That love is God. So, when we say God is love and we are expressions of God’s love, this means that the root of ourselves is the spirit of God. Self-love is the recognition that within your body temple exists the power source that connects to everything in the universe.

You are connected to every living thing in the universe, and that includes God.

God is within us all.

Now, as we begin to define ourselves, let’s first understand we have an unlimited power that has brought us into being in this realm. This unlimited power lives inside of us and that alone tells us that our potential is unlimited.

The only way it can be limited is through how we think, so in this moment in time, let’s recognize ourselves with true love by recognizing that we possess a power that’s God inside of us. And with the God potential, anything that we can contemplate can come into being.

When you have self-love, you have the ability to define yourself. That means the things that feel too good to you, and do not harm others should be right for you. Your heart and emotions help to guide you toward what’s right for you. So when we enter into relationships, in business dealings, and we sense that the situation is not right, pay attention to this feeling. Recognize that feeling as God’s spirit inside of you speaking to you. Don’t ignore it. That leads you to the place where you should be.

Secondly, when you love yourself and think of yourself in your highest image, then you can identify and connect to the highest images of those around you.

You will begin to attract people into your life who are at the same level of self-love or higher.

Stronger relationships are formed, as you are able to recognize the greatness in each other.

Recall your airline travels. You are told that in the case of cabin pressure loss, oxygen masks will release and if you’re traveling with children, you place the mask first over your face then over that of your child. Simple analogy. You can’t save anyone unless you save yourself. You have to start loving yourself and recognizing your innate potential before you can truly connect and recognize that true potential in others.

Finally, when you develop a strong sense of self-love, there’s nothing in this world that is equal to it. That means love conquers all.

In this season, when we’re in a giving mood, let’s not just let it shut down after Christmas or New Year’s. Continue to keep an openmind and remain generous, but stay in a place where you’re focusing on developing more self-love. This self-love is what will help us change our community, which will change our families, and eventually change the world.

That’s our Ultimate Transformations Moment. Peace and be more.
