Los Angeles-born Michelle Wallace transitioned from a background with a formal education in math and science to a current life-style where art, and in particular ceramics, is now the focus. Using cowrie shells, raffia, beads and various Adrinkra symbols, she creates works that are reminiscent of Mother Africa. Her art is on display at Cultural Interiors West, 5669 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles.
