The Black Education Task is among a number of community groups that will host the second of two community forums exploring the Los Angeles Unified School District’s failure to adequately educate African American students.
The first forum discussed the issue, and this one is expected to discuss specific solutions.
The meeting will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Southside Bethel Baptist Church, 10400 S. San Pedro Blvd., Los Angeles. Admission is free. For more information, contact MAC@laul.org.
