Los Angeles, CA — Downtown Los Angeles rides on the DASH bus line will continue to cost 25 cents to board the bus, however, free transfers have been eliminated, effective immediately.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) will offer a monthly DASH pass for $9, which allows unlimited use on all DASH lines.
DASH fares can also be paid for with LADOT Commuter Express/DASH monthly passes or the county-wide EZ transit pass.
“LADOT has eliminated transfers to help cut down on boarding time and keep our buses moving quickly through downtown L.A.,” said Rita Robinson, LADOT general manager.
