Minister Keith Pringle performs

Los Angeles, CA — A musical salute to recording artist Keith Pringle will be held Sunday, March 29, at 4 p.m. at Brookins Community AME Church, 4831 Gramercy Pl. in Los Angeles, announced Dr. Rodena Preston, event co-organizer.

“The gospel community is coming together to recognize and honor the many contributions of our friend, Minister Keith Pringle.  Several guest artists will attend and perform and we invite all former members of his Pentecostal Community Choir to join us for this great occasion,” said Dr. Preston who is coordinating the program along with Joyce Logan, founder and publisher of Gospel International, and Edna Tatum, host of Gospel Classics on KPFK radio 90.7 FM.

A protégé of the late Rev. James Cleveland, Pringle is internationally-known for his rendition of, “Call Him Up,” one of the most popular gospel hits of the 1980s.  Among his other legendary recordings are “No Greater Love,” “Feel Like Going On,” “I’ll Never Turn Back” and “When All God’s Children Get Together.”
