Los Angeles, CA — On Feb. 20 and 21, Westchester High School will hold elections to determine the community and parent representatives to sit on the campus’ governance  council.

Parents and community members are eligible to vote.

Parents must  currently have a child enrolled at Westchester High School or have a student who is currently in eighth grade at Wright Middle School and living within the Westchester attendance area.

Each person will receive one vote per child in either category and must verify student enrollment at your selected polling location.

To vote as a community member, you must have a verifiable home or business address within the Westchester attendance boundaries and must be 18 years or older. Community members have only one vote per person.

If you work in the community, bring a paystub or an affidavit from your employer. If you are resident, bring a driver’s license, property tax bill, rental agreement or a utility bill. Business owners should bring a business license, or property tax, utility or rent payment receipts.

Voting will take place at Westchester High School Auditorium, 7400 W. Manchester Blvd. and at Simply Wholesome Foods, 4508 W. Slauson Blvd., from 12-7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Saturday.
