Tax seminar offers guidance

Los Angeles, CA – Tax returns are the most misunderstood documents in business finance, and a seminar by L.C. Green and Associates Inc. in conjunction with the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC), on Jan. 22 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. will help clear up some of the confusion.
Among the topics that will be discussed are proven strategies for accessing business capital; understanding business and personal income tax returns; learning how to utilize tax deductions for medical, dental, optical, disability and insurance expenses; discovering the corporate tax deductions and benefits under the IRS code; and understanding of the relationship between tax returns, other financial documents and qualifying for a bank loan or investor capital; how to prepare and read a financial statement; as well as the benefits of different business structures.
The seminar will be held at the GLAAACC conference room at 5120 W. Goldleaf Circle Suite 10-A in Los Angeles. There is no cost to GLAAACC members, and $25 for others. Reservations are required and should be made by Jan. 19 by calling (323) 292-1297 or sending an e-mail to info@glaaacc.org.
