Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones, 58, passes

Ohio Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones died tonight at 6:12 p.m. at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
According to the Cleveland Heights Police Department, Tubbs Jones was found slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle about 9 p.m. last night. It was later reported that she had experienced a brain aneurysm while driving.
Tubbs Jones was the first African American woman elected to the United States House of Representatives from Ohio.
The Cleveland native was born Sept.. 10, 1949 and was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
Her husband, Mervyn, preceded her in death in 2003. Their union produced a son, Mervyn Jr.
