At MOAH:Cedar

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH), 665 W. Lancaster Blvd., has announced the addition of Studio 606, the newest addition to MOAH:CEDAR’s campus. Equipped with music recording, podcasting, and audio production facilities, Studio 606 is a collaborative project and creative space made with the community in mind.

Conceptualized in 2020, Studio 606 was created to echo the efforts of the CEDAR campus, honoring the museum’s dedication to self-expression and creativity for the Antelope Valley community. Studio 606 is intended to give people the opportunity to create original stories, in their own backyard. The museum believes in the power of giving the community autonomy over their own narrative as a place of cultural significance to its residents.

Additionally, MOAH is considering an in-house podcast recorded at Studio 606, MOAH Muse, as a gateway to the world of creativity, hosted by museum curators, art enthusiasts, and cultural connoisseurs. MOAH Muse is available to stream now on Soundcloud, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and Google Podcasts.

As a part of MOAH:CEDAR’s campus, Studio 606 is a community-centric multimedia space that provides an accessible means to professional-level production services and equipment.

Furnished with music recording, podcasting, and audio production facilities, Studio 606 is equipped to handle a variety of projects. Along with production facilities, the space also offers on-site experts to assist with any production needs.
