Success is ability to provide for their family

With Black History Month well under way, Pew Research Center has  released new analysis exploring how Black adults define personal and financial success, and the pressures they feel to achieve their goals. This nationally-representative survey of 4,736 U.S. adults is a continuation of the center’s  latest work studying the unique and nuanced experiences of Black adults in the U.S.

The new report finds that most Black Americans consider themselves at least somewhat successful (66%), with 82% of Black adults pointing to the ability to provide for their family when asked to define what success means to them personally.
