The return of football

The NFL starts on Thursday

It's been a long seven months for football fans, but depending on what level you watch this Thursday, all of the waiting, agonizing, boring Sundays and Saturdays, all that comes to an end as the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs take on the knee-biting dark horse of the NFC Detroit Lions, Thursday at 8 pm EST. The Chiefs enter this game without their star tight end, Travis Kelce, as he sustained a hyper-extended knee in practice on Tuesday. The Lions will also be without their star wideout, Jameson Williams, due to suspension.

College football started last week with upsets and ranked games already taking place, including Deion Sander's led Colorado Buffaloes beating 17-ranked TCU, which was in last year's college football championship by a score of 45-42.

You can watch games on all streaming sports platforms unless you have Spectrum, which is currently unable to stream Disney-owned programs because of contract negotiations stalling.
