The inevitable trips to the store for endless school supplies have begun as the fall season approaches. For those looking for no-cost options, Special Needs Network has you covered. SNN is hosting its 18th Annual Back2School Community Health Resource Fair on August 26th from 10 A.M.-2 P.M. The Special Needs Network is a grassroots black-owned organization that supports children and families with special needs children.      

The Resource Fair will be held at Jane Addams Park, located at 15114 Firmona Ave in Lawndale. Mcdonald's has partnered with Special Needs Network to offer free lunches as a contribution to the event, free dental and health screenings, free professional haircuts, free food and beverages, free fresh fruit and vegetables, free blood pressure, glucose HIV Testing, and PReP, testing are available.  

In addition to the free resources, live music, and entertainment, exciting prize giveaways with the chance to win a free phone or tablet from True Connect with an EBT card are available to all attendees! A petting zoo and pony rides will offer a fun experience, backpack, and school supply giveaways, and much more! Special Needs Network hopes to provide resources for the community and offer information to the community.
