Celebrating jazz cultural
This Saturday, August 26, Leimert Park is hosting their fourth annual Jazz Festival at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza from 12:30 pm to 9 pm. The event is offering free admission to the public. The event will host artists such as Gerald Clayton, Keyon Harrold, and other local South L.A. artists, with headliners Carmen Lundy and Pancho Sanchez to close the live performances.
This event's purpose is to serve the culturally diverse and family-friendly community accompanied by celebrating the jazz community, and the cultural heritage of the historic neighborhood of Leimert Park. The event will also showcase the artwork of local artists and will have small retail pop up's, food options, and a kid's zone.
