Commercial center to include Chick-fil-A

Sage Investco, a retail real estate company based in Newport Beach, CA, will be constructing a new commercial center that will include a Chick-fil-A, a Mister Car Wash and a highly sought-after coffee shop that does not currently have a location in east Palmdale.

The approximately four-acre development will be located on the northeast corner of Avenue S and 40th St East.  The project is a part of a joint venture that includes Sage Investco, LLC, Citivest Commercial and other investors. The project received unanimous approval from the Planning Commission last week.

Chick-fil-A will feature both indoor and outdoor patio seating, as well as two canopied drive-thru lanes to help enhance traffic flow. Once open, Chick-fil-A 40th Street & Avenue S will bring approximately 80-120 full and part-time jobs to the community. Chick-fil-A is known for serving customers great-tasting food made with high-quality ingredients, including the original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich and creating a welcoming environment for all. Each restaurant is locally owned and operated, allowing Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators to serve as full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities.

“Palmdale is growing, and we are so excited about the possibility for new commercial development," said Palmdale  Mayor Laura Bettencourt. “I am happy to welcome Chick-fil-A and other retailers which many of our eastside residents have overwhelmingly requested."

“Sage Investco is thrilled to see this highly anticipated site plan receive approval and have the opportunity to bring a quality commercial development to the east side of Palmdale,” said Patrick Charriou, Sage Investco’s Founder and Managing Partner. “We look forward to continuing to work with the City and our partners in the community!”

Sage Investco actively works with a select group of retail tenants, grocery markets, restaurants, and gas station operators to find, develop and build new sites for their operations in the Western States of the US, with a main presence in California. Construction is anticipated to begin later this year and scheduled to be finished in 2024.
