The L.A. South Chamber of Commerce (LASCC) will host and participate in a series of events during National Small Business Week. This annual celebration occurs during the first week of May. The aim is to honor the entrepreneurs of our country, who have played their part in bringing new ideas to life and growing our economy.

The Chamber’s events will be both virtual and in-person, and accessible to anyone interested.

“The L.A. South Chamber of Commerce has grown its business base to nearly 400 members over the last six and a half years, most of which are small and micro-businesses. We take advantage of every opportunity to showcase their businesses, celebrate their growth and provide new resources to build capacity,” stated Dexter McLeod, president of the L.A. South Chamber of Commerce.

At noon on  May 5 – “Grow with Google” webinar will be held at the Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Center

From 1 to 3 p.m. on May 6 – Small Business Spotlight at the Village Market Place, 6569 S. Vermont Ave., L.A. 90044

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 7 – Mother’s Day Pop Up-N-Shop at the South Bay Pavilion 20700 S. Avalon, Carson, CA 90746

Keyonna Kidd-Goins, owner of COLLAB and co-host of the Mother’s Day Pop up event, is one of the Chamber’s newer members and is excited about the National Small Business Week events.
