A boy, who pointed a gun at police officers and was critically injured in an officer-involved shooting, who was booked for an unrelated narcotics warrant and is being held without bail, police said today.
Police were sent to Central Ave. and 22nd St. about 8 p.m. Monday to investigate reports of gunfire. Witnesses pointed them in the direction of the suspect.
When the officers got near Hooper Ave. and Adams Blvd. the boy pointed a gun at them, was shot in return and taken to a hospital.
