Actor and producer Tim Reid has launched a new network, Legacy of a People.
The network is designed to showcase content for, by and about the African diaspora, according to the website.
“Media worldwide is undergoing dramatic change as it defines social, economic and cultural perceptions for billions of people on a daily basis. I believe that in this atmosphere of media consumption, fragmented audiences and consolidation of media ownership, lies a critical need to identify new strategies and models for those who passionately seek to tell culturally significant stories,” says Reid.
Legacy of a People will feature documentaries, lifestyles and fashion, stories from the Motherland, comedy, animation, sports and more.
