A 28-year-old man was killed this week when the ATV he was riding crashed into a block wall in an unincorporated area near Palmdale.
The crash occurred about 2 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 20th Street East and Papagayo Way, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The man was riding a 2017 Yamaha Raptor south on 20th Street East when he “lost control and collided into a block wall,” authorities said.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
A portion of 20th Avenue East was shut down for about three hours while authorities investigated the crash.
