Our deputy mayors have now confirmed six cases of COVID-19 in the Antelope Valley. Three of these cases will soon be discharged from the hospital. The unprecedented challenges posed by COVID-19 requires us to consider different ways to continue providing services. This is a time of anxiety and uncertainty, and we seek to help ease concerns by remaining available to the community.

Although many city facilities have closed due to the “Safer at Home” order by the state and county, Lancaster City Hall is open with appropriate measures being taken to protect the health of the community including social distancing, modified access and frequent cleaning and disinfecting according to the CDC’s guidelines. However, we encourage our residents to take advantage of our services offered online. For more information visit www.cityoflancasterca.org/coronavirus.

Below is a link to the updated information from the state regarding “Safer at Home”. It includes a new “Frequently Asked Questions” section and expansion and clarification of essential businesses that can remain open.
