Male Rites of Passage program offered

Orientation is set for noon on Saturday, Jan. 25 for a new Rites of Passage program, sponsored by the KA Men’s Society.

Classes for African-American males ages 10 – 18 will begin on Feb. 1 and will be held each Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the KRST Unity Center of Afrakan Spiritual Science, 7825 S. Western Ave.

Subjects include history, culture, science, math, geography, technology, spiritual science, and more. Guest lecturers and community outings are planned.
