Lane closures on Aviation Boulevard between Arbor Vitae Street and Century Boulevard will be implemented to perform the installation of the guideway foundations of the Automated People Mover train.
K-rail will be used along the closure to separate traffic from the work zone. A single lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions during the closure.
Also, SoCal Gas will be performing utility relocations on Aviation Boulevard between Arbor Vitae Street and Century Boulevard until Sunday, Feb. 16. This work will result in a full nightly closure from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, as well as a full daily closure Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
