With the holidays being just around the corner, consumers are anticipating shopping in the early hours of Black Friday. But how about an entire week of Black Friday deals? A new partnership with over 100 groups supporting Shop Black Week, urges consumers to make it a week of shopping and supporting Black owned businesses, from Nov. 22 to 29.

“Shop Black Week” is a new nationwide campaign designed to encourage consumers to support Black-owned businesses in November. Participants include organizations, as well as online-social groups and publications that have made the commitment to advertise the event on their social media.

With the help and support of the participating groups and new supporters, it is expected that this nationwide campaign could be a successful, economic, new movement and could help thousands of Black-owned businesses in the meantime.

The participating groups and members from an additional 30+ organizations and Facebook groups will be releasing more information during the initial unfold. Combined, they represent over 750K followers and members who will be asked to share the purpose of the campaign. To help spread the word and go viral, everyone is encouraged to use #ShopBlackWeek and #SBW2019 on their social media.

The organizers of Shop Black Week request that interested parties register on their website, because they’re in need of as many participants as possible from well-established organizations, LinkedIn and Facebook groups, as well as other social groups who are eager to spread the word with their followers and members.

Businesses, organizations, and individual supporters who would like to participate in this historical event should register at .https://www.shopblackweek.org/ as a sign of solidarity in the movement.
