Fall fun begins Sept. 6 at Oasis Recreation Center

The city of Palmdale’s recreation and culture department is offering a variety of classes and activities for children this fall season.

Spark your toddler’s creativity with art projects for tiny fingers. “Tiny Masterpieces” runs on Fridays, Sept. 6-27, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. This class is for ages 2 to 4 years.

“Move and Groove Tots” offers toddlers ages 2 to 4 a place to enjoy music and movement with organized games and activities that emphasize balance, coordination, motor skills and self-expression. Parent participation is required. The class will be held Wednesdays, Sept. 4-25, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

“T-ball Allstars” classes are held indoors and children will learn to bat, catch, field and run bases. Fundamental skills and good sportsmanship are emphasized. The class is offered on Wednesdays, Sept. through Oct. 23, from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. for ages 4 to 5 years, and 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for ages 6 to 7 years.
