The Coalition of 100 Black Women Los Angeles will host from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 6 a Community Health Fair at Rogers Park, 400 West Beach Ave., in Inglewood.
The event will offer several health-related attractions, including stress relief/management, styling and maintenance of “natural” hair, herbal remedies, message and stretch therapy, an introduction to holistic medicine, and healthy food choices.
In addition, there will be a discussion of mental health and free health screening and consultations. A number of “do-it-yourself” projects will be available for children.
Additional sponsors include the City of Hope/Miracle of Science with Soul, Jane Carton Solution, and Jessicurl.
