Hitchcock festival at library

The Palmdale City Library, 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., will host a four-day film festival honor of the Master of Suspense, Alfred J. Hitchcock, from Monday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 25 at 5:30 p.m.

The free festival will feature four Hitchcock classics including: “Rear Window” (PG) on Oct. 22, “Strangers on a Train” (PG) on Oct. 23, “Vertigo” (PG) on Oct. 24, and “Psycho” (R) on Oct. 25. “Psycho” attendees must be 18 years of age or older or be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

“Join us for our very first Hitchcock Film Festival, featuring four of his most iconic movies,” said Jamielee Beck, Youth Service’s librarian. “You’ll be at the edge of your seat.”

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Palmdale City Library.

The Palmdale City Library is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
