A 33-year-old man was convicted yesterday of sexually assaulting and murdering a woman in a Gardena hotel room and raping three other victims.

Jurors found Kevon Takashi Ross guilty of 25 felony counts, including one count each of first-degree murder and sodomy of an unconscious victim, eight counts of rape of an unconscious person, seven counts of forcible rape, six counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object and two counts of injuring a girlfriend, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The murder charge stems from the death of Kellie Marie Nolan, 27, of Torrance, who was sexually assaulted and asphyxiated in a Gardena hotel room on Dec. 12, 2015.

Ross also sexually assaulted a girlfriend in October 2007, and raped two other women between June and November of 2015—one of them in Riverside County, according to court testimony.

Ross, who is due back in an Inglewood courtroom for sentencing on July 13, is facing 286 years to life in state prison, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
