Stellar Awards drew thousands to Orleans in Las Vegas

It’s becoming a tradition in Las Vegas in March – the annual Stellar Music Awards at the stortied Orleans in Las Vegas. Once the again, the event drew thousands of Gopsel music industry people as well as fans to two main events: the ASCAP/Motown Awards Breakfast and the Stellar Awards themselves. This year, R&B crooner Kenny Lattimore joined the annual celebration to share his love for Gospel music. At the ASCAP/Motown reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, he sang, “We Want to See You” with his signature falsetto drawing a standing ovation. Lexi also performed, as did Brian Courtney Wilson to a room filled with Stellar Award nominees and industry tastemakers. Later on Saturday, the Stellars took place and will air this Friday, March 30, on TV One. Kirk Franklin hosts the show, which features a reunion of Gospel due Mary Mary and an unusual performance from Snoop Dogg with Tye Tribbett.
