Deputies raided a home this week in the Quartz Hill area and arrested two men and a woman for weapons violations. Three firearms were seized.
The operation was conducted early Tuesday morning in the 4500 Block of West Avenue L-2, according to the sheriff’s Lancaster Station.
“Through investigative sources, information revealed that there were three convicted felons — which included an active gang member — residing at the home, ” according to a sheriff’s statement.
Deputies recovered an assault rifle with a loaded 30-round magazine, a .40-caliber handgun, and a .22- caliber rifle.
The suspects, who were not immediately identified, were booked on various felony violations.
Special Enforcement Bureau personnel assisted in the operation.
