Ryan Cameron has been a staple on radio in Atlanta for decades, with early stints on Radio One and then moving to V103, first to conquer afternoon drive and then mornings. Late last week, the Black radio legend announced plans to leave V103 and go into partnership with a branding company called Rakanter. Cameron’s final day on air at V103 will be this Friday, Feb. 2. The seasoned hometown voice has been active in the community as well as on the air. Over the years he has initiated popular community events such as the Father/Daughter Dance and many other charity-driven events. Said Cameron when making the announcement: “I have done everything I can in this field. It’s time for another chapter in my life.”
