Music artist R. Kelly, who wrote one of music’s most inspiring songs in “I Believe I Can Fly,” is being evicted from his residences in Atlanta for failing to pay rent. According to news reports, he owes about $31,000 in back rent on two homes. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Fulton County court records indicate that the money is owed to SB Property Management Global for two properties in Saint Devon Crossing Old Homestead Trail. One home’s rest is at $3,000 a month while the other was rented to Kelly for $11,542. It was just last year that a woman came forward and claimed that the troubled singer was running a “cult of kept women” at the properties. The report was collaborated by a radio personality in Dallas, who also said that she was once held captive by Kelly as well. The Fulton County District Attorney’s office is reportedly investigating the allegations.
