Grand opening at noon for Turner’s Outdoorsman

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting is scheduled at noon today at Turner’s Outdoorsman, 39626 10th St. West, in Palmdale.
Turner’s is the state’s largest privately-owned specialty sporting goods store chain operating 21 locations from Salinas to San Diego. They have an E-commerce outlet as well, and expect to open an additional five locations by the end of the year.
Turner’s offers a wide selection of merchandise for fishing, hunting, shooting and archery. In the various communities in which they operate, Turner’s promotes local youth fishing tournaments and regularly conducts hunting and fishing seminars as well as hosting hands-on sport shooting fairs.
Turner’s also works with the National Rifle Association, Safari Club International, Ducks Unlimited, the California Waterfowl Association and the California Sport Fishing League.
