One man was killed and two others injured in a shooting in Inglewood and police searched this week for the two men accused of opening fire on the victims.

Officers responded about 5:30 p.m. Monday to a call of a shooting victim in the 900 block of West Beach Avenue, where they located three men who had been struck by gunfire while standing on a sidewalk in the area, according to a statement from the Inglewood Police Department.

All three victims were taken to a hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other two were treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

“We can’t exactly say it was random,” Inglewood Police Lt. Oscar Mejia told ABC7. “We are trying to determine what the motive was, if they knew the victims, we don’t know any of that. But right now, anything is a possibility.”

Police did not release a description of the suspects.
