Rapper Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill K. Kapri, was released from a Broward County (Fort Lauderdale area) jail on Saturday Aug. 18 after about seven months under lock and key. According to Channel 10 in South Florida, the hip-hop artist drove away in a Bentley Bentayga SUV with temporary tags. His first stop was reportedly his mom’s house where his son was also staying. Kodak Black did not say much, as Channel 10 reporter Brian Ely caught him leaving the jail. “I don’t really say too much,” Black actually said. In January, an Instagram photo of his son showed marijuana near the boy, which promoted police to search his home. He was then charged with child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana. The 21-year-old’s short career has been beleaguered in trouble. He has a sexual assault charge pending in South Carolina.
