Compton town hall will address deputy ‘clique’

The National Association For Equal Justice In America (NAEJA) will convene a Town Hall meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Compton Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1226 Compton Blvd., to address attempts by several Compton Sheriff Deputies to restart secret societies, cliques or “gangs” as they are referred to on the street.  

Century Station command staff have been invited to speak to concerns of residents its plan to put an end to these secret societies and to monitor so-called “wayward” deputies.

Residents of Compton and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend the event.
