Antelope Valley America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a recruitment event on Tuesday, Aug. 7 and Wednesday, Aug.  8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Burlington in Lancaster.

Burlington is currently seeking candidates for the following positions: cashier, cashiers-seasonal, customer service, sales associates, stock & merchandise, loss prevention, receiving associates, receiving supervisors, markdown associates and flex associates.

Job requirements include high school diploma or GED, some knowledge and/or experience in desired position, must be able to work weekends,  and must be able to pass drug test and background check.  Candidates must apply online prior to attending the event at www.burlingtonstores.jobs.

Candidates must be registered with CalJobs, bring resume tailored for the position, and come dressed for success.

The roots of Burlington go back to 1924 when they started as a wholesaler of ladies’ coats and juniors’ suits. In 1972, they opened their first outlet store in Burlington, NJ. Coats were the primary offering at the original Burlington Stores, but over time they have evolved into one of the nation’s top off-price retailers.

Burlington operatres more than 600 stores in 46 states and Puerto Rico.
