The Lancaster JetHawks and the City of Lancaster are excited to announce that world-renowned Southern Rock Legends 38 Special will perform live at The Hangar on Monday, June 18, an event that will kick off the festivities surrounding the 2018 California League All-Star Game.

38 Special has been together for more than three decades with numerous gold and platinum albums and sales of more than 20 million. Some of the bands many hits include “Hold on Loosely,” “Rockin’ into the Night,” “Caught Up in You,” “Fantasy Girl,” and “Back Where You Belong.” Since 1976, the band has produced more than 15 albums.

“We are thrilled to have 38 Special coming to Lancaster and can’t wait to host this legendary band at The Hangar. Our fans are in for a treat as we kick-off what is sure to be an amazing two days of live music and baseball in the Antelope Valley,” said JetHawks Executive Vice-President Tom Backemeyer.

This will mark the first live show at The Hangar since 2014 and the first ever visit to Lancaster for 38 Special.

Tickets for the show range from $30 – $75 and will go on sale today. In addition, the 13th will also mark the first day of individual ticket sales for the 2018 California League All-Star Game and Home Run Derby, which is slated for Tuesday, June 19.
