ESPN host Jemele Hill stirred controversy this week when she tweeted that President Donald Trump was a “White supremacist” who largely surrounds himself with “other White supremacists.”

Hill is the host of “SC6” show, a relatively new version of SportsCenter that the network says has an “urban feel.” ESPN releases a statement shortly after the controversy:

“The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN. We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.”

Hill reportedly has a pair of photos of former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama pinned atop her Twitter feed.
