Gospel singer and songwriter CeCe Winans continues to blaze the trail in the entertainment industry after decades in the business. Winans was recently nominated for three GMA Dove Awards, Contemporary Gospel Urban Worship Album of the Year; Contemporary Gospel Urban Song of the Year; and Gospel Artist of the Year. The seasoned singer walked away with two out of three nods; Gospel Artist of the Year and Contemporary Gospel Urban Worship Album of the Year. In addition to her nominations, Winans’ son Alvin Love III and Tommy Sims also received a nod for Producer of the Year.
Winans’ response to taking home two Dove Awards: “I am humbled by God’s kindness and faithfulness. Winning is always about God being glorified! Let Them Fall In Love is a project I am proud of because people all over the world will fall in love with Jesus because of it. Thank you to everyone for your support.”
The 48th Annual GMA Annual Dove Awards were held at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville, and are set to air exclusively on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 22 at 8 p.m.
Winans will be in California with the San Francisco Symphony on Dec. 12th and 13th.
