The Palmdale City Library will host the next meeting of the African American Authors Book Club to discuss the novel “Grace” by Natashia Deon on Tuesday, Oct.17, at 6:45 p.m.
Named a New York Times 2016 Best Book of the Year, “Grace” is an intergenerational saga featuring a group of outcast women in the 1840s south. Centering on a fifteen year old runaway slave “Grace” is a story of freedom, love, and motherhood.
The African American Authors Book Club meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:45 p.m. New members are welcome to attend.
The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
