The Small Business Legal Academy will host a free one-day event planned tomorrow at the Ebony Repertory Theater, 4718 W. Washington Blvd., Los Angeles.
The event is geared for individuals planning to start or continue a Los Angeles County low-come business that will make a positive impact on the community. Workshops will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. covering such topics as business formation basics, intellectual property laws, contracts, employment law, insurance laws, real estate law, and licensing, taxes and permits.
One-on-one legal consultations will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Free food, refreshments and parking will be provided.
