A woman named Claudia Williams is California’s newest millionaire, thanks to a Super Ticket she bought in Long Beach on May 11, the California lottery said today.
Williams bought the Scratchers ticket at the Payless Tobacco Co. at 3290 East Anaheim St. The retailer will now receive a $5,000 bonus.
Williams is on the shy side, declining to have a winner’s photo taken or to speak to the news media about her win.
