The Palmdale Summer Theatre Experience will present “The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet,” a short comedy by Peter Bloedel tonight and tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. at The Palmdale Playhouse, located at 38334 10th St. East in Palmdale.

“This delightfully funny presentation is a whimsical reinvention of Shakespeare’s tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay and fantastical machines similar to something Dr. Suess might have come up with, if he ever had his way with the script,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Supervisor Annie Pagliaro. “It’s a wonderful comedy for all ages.”

The “Seussification of Romeo and Juliet” is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts Inc. of New York City.

Tickets are $7, with a Family Four pack available for $20. (Family Four Pack not available online.)

Tickets for all Palmdale Playhouse events may be purchased online at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com or at the Box Office beginning two hours before each show, 38334 10th St. East. For more information, please call (661) 267-5684.
