Representatives from PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) on Jan. 23 will be present at the Palmdale City Library from 10 a.m. to noon to provide referral services to local agencies who may provide help with a variety of homelesness-related issues. The organization will return to the library on Feb. 6 and 27 at the same time period.

Because Los Angeles County hosts more homeless persons than any region in the nation, the PATH organization has for years served to bring individuals and organizations together to find solutions for homelessness. They do this by prioritizing housing while providing customized supportive services for individuals and families in need. The various agencies address homelessness in different ways such as supportive services, permanent housing development, support for homeless families, and community engagement.

For more details, call Javier Acosta of PATH at (213) 448-6136 or contact him at JavierA@epath.org. Call the library at (661) 267-5600.
