Authorities this week identified a 32-year-old man who was killed, when he crashed while on a motorcycle on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Lancaster was identified today by authorities.
The crash occurred before 8:30 p.m. Monday. A preliminary investigation indicated the motorcycle struck some debris in northbound lanes near Avenue S. Douglas Fielden of Lancaster was thrown into the southbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The freeway was closed in both directions following the crash and a SigAlert was issued.
