Lancaster Sheriffs this week continued an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a vehicle-vs.-motorcycle crash that left two persons dead. The crash took place July 30 at 40th Street West and Newgrove Street.
Preliminary information revealed that the driver of a 2003 Toyota Prius was traveling southbound on 40th Street West and made a left turn eastbound on Newgrove Street. A motorcyclist was traveling northbound 40th Street West and the car and motorcycle collided in the intersection. The front right passenger in the car died, as did the motorcyclist.
Sheriff’s investigators are asking any witnesses to the deadly crash to contact them at (661) 948-8466.
