The city of Palmdale’s DryTown Water Park will be closed today and all aquatics programs at the city’s three pools have been canceled due to poor air quality from the Sand Fire.
City officials say they hope to resume the programs tomorrow. Also, last weekend’s LeAnn Rimes concert at the Palmdale Amphitheater has been rescheduled for September.
