There’s a rare treat coming to Legacy Commons for Active Seniors. The Delfonics Revue featuring Gary Stevens will perform at 6 p.m. Oct. 1.

The original Delfonics were one of the most popular acts to hail from Philadelphia, Pa. The group is best known for the hits “La La Means I Love You,” “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time” and “Hey Love.” Comedian Melvin Jackson Jr. will emcee the show, which will also include DJ music and line dancing. Many audiences have responded enthusiastically to The Delfonics Revue with Gary Stevens, noting that the show captures the emotion and memories of the early 1970s when The Delfonics rivaled the best soul groups in the music industry.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $25 (VIP seating $35) and must be purchased in advance of the show’s starting time. They are available by calling Legacy Commons representatives DeVal Robinson at (323) 594-2806, or Marva Lynne Evans at (323) 594-0443.
