The Lancaster Museum and Public Art Foundation (LMPAF) will host its Incognito Costume Gala and Auction on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 10 p.m.

The event accompanies the Lancaster Museum of Art and History’s fall exhibition, “Myths and Legends,” which is scheduled to open later this month. Proceeds from the exhibition will benefit the museum’s STEAM  (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) educational programs which help to propel local youth into careers in the arts and sciences. This year, the 2015 LMPAF Art and Technology Scholarship will be presented to the latest essay winner.

LMPAF is the active fundraising arm for the Lancaster art museum and was formed in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation. The foundation provides resource support to enhance the exhibits, collections, programs and operations of the city of Lancaster’s museum facilities and public art spaces.

Tickets to the LMPAF gala and auction are $100 per person.

For more details regarding sponsorship activities or to purchase tickets, visit www.lmpaf.org or call the museum at (661) 723-6250.
